Statement Regarding Arbitration Proceedings
Scalar Tools, Inc. has announced the successful outcome of the arbitration proceedings initiated by SAi, Inc. relating to the launch of Ibex CNC™. After discovery and review of the relevant source code, the emergency arbitrator denied SAi’s motion for emergency relief seeking to block the marketing and sale of Ibex CNC™, finding that SAi failed to present evidence sufficient to support the relief requested. SAi subsequently withdrew its case, and the American Arbitration Association closed the matter. Scalar Tools views the outcome as confirmation that its development and launch of Ibex CNC™ are consistent with its contractual and legal rights.
Our focus moving forward is to continue building and improving Ibex CNC™ while delivering meaningful innovation to customers across the sign, woodworking, fabrication, and architectural graphics industries.
